ATLANTIC CITY, NJ - The Northampton Baseball team, which finished the regular season with an overall record of 32-10, received the #4 seed for the upcoming Region 19 Division III tournament.  The Spartans will host 5th seeded Bergen Community College (23-16) in a best of three series beginning on Saturday at 11am.  Game two will take place approximately 30 minutes after Game one.  If a third game is necessary, it will take place on Sunday starting at noon.  All games are 9 innings. 

RELEASE FROM REGION 19:
The Baseball Committee has released the seeding for the 2022 NJCAA Region 19 Division III Baseball Tournament. A total of 7 teams have qualified for the post-season tournament. The tournament seeding is as follows:

1. RCSJ-Gloucester
2. RCSJ-Cumberland
3. Brookdale
4. Northampton
5. Bergen
6. Middlesex
7. Camden

First Round: Best of 3 Series - May 13th-15^th hosted by the higher seed
#7 Camden at #2 RCSJ-Cumberland
#6 Middlesex at #3 Brookdale
#5 Bergen at #4 Northampton
*#1 RCSJ-Gloucester will receive a first-round bye.
-Dates of official play for this round are Friday - Sunday to allow for teams to be proactive due to the potential of rain this weekend. Both schools must agree upon dates and times for this series and notify the assignor, and myself, accordingly.
