CHARLOTTE, NC - For the first time in program history, the Northampton men's soccer team has earned a spot in the NJCAA national rankings.  Released today by the national office, the undefeated Spartans are receiving votes in the latest Division III poll. 

"It is an exciting "first" for our program," remarked Head Coach Mario Barrantes, "we have worked hard over the last four-plus years to build this program, and today is one more step in the right direction."

The Spartans will not have long to celebrate though, as they host 6th ranked Camden County College on Tuesday at 3:30pm.  "Camden will be a great test," remarked Barrantes, "they have been the standard-bearer in the league for years, so it is exciting to see where we stand."

Northampton is currently 4-0-0 overall and 2-0-0 in Region 19.
