SCHNECKSVILLE, Pa. - Despite a late arrival to Berrier Hall, the Spartans were able to gather themselves and earn a 25-7, 25-7, 25-5 sweep of Lehigh Carbon Community College on Thursday evening. 

Ayana Bomani (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty) recorded 17 kills, 18 digs and 2 service aces, Jordan Appleton (Langhorne, PA/Notre Dame Green Pond) had 11 kills and 14 digs, Theresa Crimi (Nazareth, PA/Notre Dame Green Pond) recorded 13 digs and newcomer Alexandra Bosco (Hellertown, PA/Saucon Valley) was credited with 33 assists, 4 kills, 4 service aces and 2 digs. 

"I was really proud of the team tonight," remarked Head Coach Rachael Caywood, "despite the confusion and quick warm-up period the girls stayed focused and got the job done."

The win moves Northampton to 8-1 overall, 4-1 in Region 19 and 6-1 in the EPAC. 

LCCC falls to 0-9 overall. 

Northampton travels south this weekend, heading to Toms River, NJ to face the Vikings of Ocean County College at 12:30pm on Saturday.
