Box Score HARRISBURG, Pa. - The 7th ranked Northampton men's basketball team picked up their 6th straight victory with a 108-61 dismantling of Harrisburg Area Community College on Tuesday evening at the Hawks Nest.
Five Spartans scored in double figures as Northampton built a 34-point halftime lead en route to the 47-point victory.
Mike Marable (Harrisburg, PA/Susquehanna) led the offense with 29 points, followed by
CJ Miles (Bangor, PA/Bangor) with 16,
Keenan Roberts Jr. (Harrisburg, PA/Central Dauphin) 13,
Keein Ward (Harrisburg, PA/Susquehanna) 12 and
Titus Wilkins (Easton, PA/Executive Education Academy Charter) 11. 12 of the 15 Spartans who saw action scored at least 2 points.
Marable added 7 rebounds and 6 steals to his stat-line to pace the Spartans.
"Tonight was a great opportunity to get some guys quality minutes and try some different rotations as we start to close in on the postseason," stated Head Coach
Brennan McCarthy, "our depth is definitely one of our strengths, and were able to show that tonight."
The win moves Northampton to 15-2 overall, 11-1 in Region 19 and 8-0 in the EPAC.
Harrisburg falls to 1-9 overall, 1-7 in the Region and 1-7 in conference play.
The Spartans stay on the road Thursday, traveling to Schnecksville, PA to face Lehigh Carbon Community College at 7pm.
