Nate Rivera (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty) scored 24 points, including six 3-pointers, to help lead the 10th ranked Northampton men's basketball team to an 86-68 victory over Luzerne County Community College on Saturday afternoon.
In a contest that saw the two teams combine to make 21 3-pointers, the Spartans knocked down 11 trifectas on their way to the 18-point victory.

Brennan McCarthy, "I thought we did a good job reversing the ball and taking what the defense gave us."
CJ Miles (Bangor, PA/Bangor) added 17 miles and
Austyn Lutes (Easton, PA/Easton) scored a season-high 11 as Northampton won their 11th straight game.
The win moves the Spartans to 11-2 overall, 7-0 in the Region and 6-0 in the EPAC.
Luzerne falls to 2-10 overall, 0-7 in the Region and 1-5 in conference play.
Northampton returns to action on December 12th when they travel to southern New Jersey to face Camden County College at 7pm.
