BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Northampton men's basketball team received a number of accolades from the Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (EPAC) on Wednesday, highlighted by the selection of Mike Marable (Harrisburg, PA/Susquehanna) as Player of the Year and Head Coach Brennan McCarthy as Coach of the Year.

The Spartans, ranked 4th in the latest NJCAA poll, won their 5th EPAC Championship in progam history this season, finishing a perfect 12-0 in conference play.

McCarthy, who became the Spartans all-time winningest coach earlier this season, captured his 4th EPAC title and is now 113-35 (76%) all-time in conference play.  This is McCarthy's second EPAC Coach of the Year award, following his selection in 2017-18.

Marable, who also earned First Team Honors last season, is averaging a team best 16.9 points per game, 7.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists.

Joining Marable on the All-Conference Team are Titus Wilkins (Easton, PA/Executive Education Academy Charter) and Tyrese Fuller (Harrisburg, PA/Central Dauphin), who were both named to the 2nd Team.

Wilkins is averaging 14.0 points per game and 5.1 rebounds..  Fuller, who is a defensive stopper for the Spartans, is averaging 10.1 points per game, 6.7 rebounds and 3.4 assists.

"Overall, just really happy for the guys, they all have earned it," remarked Head Coach Brennan McCarthy, "I appreciate the team staying locked in throughout the season, staying focused on our goals ... this entire group has put winning above any personal accolades."

The Spartans, the #1 seed in the Region 19 tournament, host #4 RCSJ-Gloucester on Thursday at 7pm in the North Atlantic District semifinals.
