BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Northampton men's volleyball team moved to 2-0 with a convincing 3-0 (25-13, 25-12, 25-1) sweep of Atlantic Cape Community College on Wednesday evening at the Arthur L. Scott Center. 

Josiah Melendez (Allentown, PA/William Allen) and Alexander Schoenen (Northampton, PA/Northampton) each had 8 kills, Melendez added 8 assists, while Schoenen recorded 2 solo blocks and 3 block assists. 

Johnny Martinez (Northampton, PA/Northampton) notched 6 kills, Ramon Romero (San Pedro Sula, Honduras/Liceo Billingue) had 13 assists and 12 digs and Marcus Schierer (Allentown, PA/William Allen) added 8 digs as the Spartans dominated the Buccaneers. 

The Spartans move to 2-0 on the season, while Atlantic Cape falls to 0-4. 

Northampton is now off until Monday March 6th when they travel to Passaic County Community College (NJ) to face the Panthers at 6pm.
