BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Northampton men's basketball team departed campus on Monday morning at 10am en route to Herkimer, NY and the NJCAA National Tournament. 

The Spartans, 28-3 overall, received an at-large bid to the national tournament and earned the #5 seed for the 12-team tournament.  Northampton finished as the North Atlantic District runner-up, falling to Brookdale Community College (NJ) in the championship game. 

Northampton will face #12 Dutchess Community College (17-12), who received an automatic bid after winning the Northeast District title, at 2pm on Wednesday. 

The winner of the 5/12 matchup will then advance to face #4 Northern Essex Community College on Thursday at 4pm.
