PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (EPAC) has announced their Players of the Week, for the week ending March 12th.
Delaware Technical Community College sophomore Macey Myers (Milford, DE/Milford) and Northampton Community College sophomore
Jeffrey Sabater (Lansdale, PA/North Penn) have been named this week's EPAC Players of the Week.
Sophomore third baseman Macey Myers showcased her hot bat as she went 9-for-11 with 6 doubles, 1 home run, 9 RBIs, and is hitting an .818 batting average to lead Delaware Teach to a 2-1-1 start of the 2023 season. Myers has already accomplished a career milestone with capturing 100 hits and 100 RBIs in just (64 games) during the first two games of the season. On March 6th, Myers became the first Delaware Teach softball player to achieve this momentous accomplishment against Anne Arundel Community College. Myers went 3-for-3 with 3 doubles and 2 RBIs on March 12th with an 8-0 win against Lakeland Community College (Ohio). Delaware Tech will host a double-header on Tuesday, March 21st at 2:30pm & 4:30pm.
Sabater led the #8 Spartans to an 8-2 week while competing in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Sabater, who led the Spartans offense with 17 hits, 8 RBI, 1 double, 2 triples, and 9 stolen bases, is currently batting .566.
Northampton Community College will travel to Carneys Point, NJ to take on Salem Community College Friday, March 17th at 3:30pm.
