BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The top-seeded Northampton men's basketball team earned a berth in the Region 19 / NJCAA North Atlantic District championship game on Saturday with a 75-63 victory over #4 RCSJ-Gloucester on Thursday evening at the Arthur L. Scott Spartan Center.
After a tight first half, the Spartans were able to open a 13 point lead with 5:19 remaining in the game and hold off the Roadrunners down the stretch to earn their second championship game appearance in program history.
Mike Marable (Harrisburg, PA/Susquehanna) had a double-double with 15 points and 14 rebounds,
CJ Miles (Bangor, PA/Bangor) had 13 points and
Titus Wilkins (Easton, PA/Executive Education Academy Charter) scored a team-high 18 points to lead Northampton.
The Spartans, who lead the country in defensive field goal percentage, held RCSJ-Gloucester to 36.9% shooting from the field and forced 15 turnovers in the win.

The win, Northampton's 19th consecutive, improves the Spartans to 28-2 overall.
RCSJ-Gloucester finishes the season at 22-8
The Spartans will host #2 Brookdale in the Region 19 / NJCAA North Atlantic District Championship on Saturday at 3pm.
