HARRISBURG, Pa. - The Northampton women's volleyball team continued their road trip on Thursday evening, traveling to Harrisburg, where they earned a 3-1 victory over the Hawks at the JW Evans PE Center. In a thrilling 4-set match, the Spartans prevailed 25-23, 26-24, 20-25, 26-24, to improve to 2-0 on the season.
Joy Wetzel (Bath, PA/Bethlehem Catholic) had 6 kills, 6 digs and 7 blocks, while
Ayana Bomani (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty) totaled 8 kills, 15 digs and 12 blocks to lead the Spartan attack.
Kailen Felty (Pine Grove, PA/Pine Grove) added 4 kills, 5 service aces, 19 digs and 7 blocks,
Leana Angelone (Coopersburg, PA/Faith Christian Academy) recorded 26 assists and
Mackenzie Davis (Warsaw, VA/Rappahannock (VA)) notched 23 digs for the Spartans.

The win moves Northampton to 2-0 overall, while Harrisburg falls to 3-3.
The Spartans are off until September 19th when they host NJCAA Division II Harcum College in their home opener at 6pm.
