SEWELL, NJ - The Northampton men's soccer team ended the regular season with an 8-0 setback to the Roadrunners of RSCJ-Glocuester on Saturday afternoon.
The Roadrunners got on the board 7 minutes into the game and then added 4 more goals in the 1st half to take a commanding 5-0 advantage into halftime.
RCSJ-Gloucester added 3 more scores in the 2nd half to earn the 8-0 victory.
Omar Zatar (Paterson, NJ/Pocono Mt. West) had 4 saves for the Spartans.
The loss drops Northampton to 6-6-2 overall and 5-5-2 in Region 19.
RCSJ-Gloucester improves to 11-5-1 overall and 9-4-1 in the Region.
The Spartans will now wait to find out their opponent for the upcoming Region 19 playoffs. Seeding takes place on Wednesday October 23rd.
