BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The 14th ranked Northampton men's basketball team remained undefeated, downing Bergen Community College, 92-77, in Region 19 action on Tuesday evening at the Arthur L. Scott Center.

Nasir Ruhani (Brooklyn, NY/Eagle Academy (NY)) scored a game-high 27 points and Nate Rivera (Bethlehem, PA/LIberty) added 21, including 5 3-pointers, to lead the Spartans. 

"Always a positive to the open the Region schedule with a win," commented Head Coach Brennan McCarthy, "but we definitely are still a work in progress.  I like our parts, we just need to see how they best fit together."

The victory moves Northampton to 3-0 overall and 1-0 in Region 19. 

Bergen falls to 0-2 overall and 0-2 in the Region.

The Spartans continue their homestand on Thursday evening, when they host Penn St.- Lehigh Valley in a non-conference match-up.
