Box Score MYRTLE BEACH, SC - Sophomore Brandon Ratti (Effort, PA/Pleasant Valley) had a huge day at the plate and on the mound to help lead the 12th ranked Northampton Baseball team past Bay College, 12-2, at the Ripken Complex. 

Ratti went 4 for 4 at the plate with 2 triples and 4 RBI and threw a complete game 2-hitter, allowing only 2 unearned runs on 3 hits, while striking out 6. 

The Norse tied the game at 2-2 with 2 runs in the top of 3rd, but the Spartans answered with 8 runs in the bottom half of the inning to take a commanding 10-2 lead. 

Northampton finished with 11 hits, including 4 doubles and 3 triples.  Luis Beato (Bethlehem, PA/Muhlenberg) recorded 2 RBI and Braden Cummings (Elizabethtown, PA/Elizabethtown) finished 1 for 2 with a walk and 2 runs scored. 

The win moves Northampton to 6-1 overall. 

The Spartans have a doubleheader on Tuesday, as they face NJCAA Division II Muskegon Community College at 3pm and 6pm.
