GLEN ELLYN, IL - The Northampton men's volleyball team rallied from an 0-2 deficit to storm back and stun Nassau Community College 3-2 in the NJCAA National Invitational on Sunday morning, to claim 5th place.
The Spartans dropped the first two sets, 25-20 and 25-22, before rallying to win 3 straight; 25-19, 25-21 and a thrilling 19-17 win in the 5th set.
"I am so proud of these guys," exclaimed Head Coach
Rachael Aquila, "first year as an intercollegiate program and they came here and proved that they can compete with the best men's volleyball teams in the NJCAA."
The Spartans finish the 2024 season with an overall record of 17-4.
