CHARLOTTE, NC - The awards continue for the #1 ranked Northampton baseball team as catcher Gabriel Caso (Califon, NJ/West Morris (NJ)) has been named the NJCAA Player of the Week, for the week ending April 21st. 

Caso batted .522 with 6 doubles and 14 RBI as the Spartans went 6-0 on the week.

For the season, Caso is batting .339 with 4 homeruns and 39 RBI in 40 games played.

The Spartans are currently 37-5 heading into a 3-game weekend Region 19 series vs. Ocean County College.
