CHARLOTTE, NC - The Northampton women's volleyball team, under the leadership of head coach Rachael Aquila, earned votes in the 2025 NJCAA Division III preseason poll, released on Monday by the national office. 

The Spartans return 4 players off last season's 16-7 team, which fell in the Region 19 semifinals to Harrisburg Area Community College.  Lexi Womack (Saylorsburg, PA/Pleasant Valley), Alyssa Eilenberger (Saylorsburg, PA/Notre Dame - Green Pond), Isabella McDonald (East Stroudsburg, PA/East Stroudsburg South) and Mitzy Orlic (Bethlehem, PA/Northampton) return, along with 8 newcomers as Northampton searches for its 10th Region 19 title since 2012.  

Head Coach Rachael Aquila enters her 5th full season with a career record of 53-22 (71%), including two Region 19 championships and two trips to the NJCAA National Championship. "I am really excited for this season," remarked Aquila, "last season did not meet our program expectations ... I think we have a talented group this year that can compete to get us back to the national tournament."

The Spartans are scheduled to the open the 2025 campaign on August 28th when they host PSU-Lehigh Valley at 6pm at the Arthur L. Scott Center.
