BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The 11th ranked Northampton Women's Volleyball team continued their strong start to the season, improving to 4-0 on Wednesday night at the Arthur L. Scott Center, topping the Hawks of Harrisburg Area Community College in 3 sets (25-15, 25-20, 25-15).
Sophomore
Lexi Womack (Saylorsburg, PA/Pleasant Valley) had 11 kills and 14 digs to set the tone for the Spartans against the Hawks.
Grace Coppola (Allentown, PA/Central Catholic) added 5 kills, 1 service ace and 4 digs and
Zoe Velez (Landville, PA/Warwick) chipped in 5 kills to help lead the attack.
Samantha Nagy (Easton, PA/Easton) collected 24 assists, 4 aces and 5 digs.
Gianna Sciarra (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty) also added 10 digs and 3 service aces in the win.

Northampton, ranked 11th in the most recent NJCAA national poll, improves to 4-0 overall and 1-0 in Region 19. Harrisburg falls to 0-1 overall and 0-1 in the Region.
The Spartans are back on the floor this Friday, September 5th, when they travel to Scranton, PA to take on NJCAA Division II Lackawanna College at 5pm.
