EDISON, NJ - All-American women's volleyball player Lexi Womack (Saylorsburg, PA/Pleasant Valley) was honored, along with 25 other female student-athletes, on Sunday at the inaugural Region 19 Women In Sports Banquet, held at Middlesex College.  Each member college in Region 19 had the opportunity to nominate a female student-athlete from their program for this prestigious award. 

Womack was the Northampton recipient after earning 1st Team NJCAA All-American honors and being named Region 19 Player of the Year after leading the Spartans to an 8th place finish at the NJCAA National Tournament.  The Spartans finished 29-4 overall and captured the Region 19 Championship.

Former WNBA superstar Tamecka Dixon served as the keynote speaker.
