LANCASTER, Pa. - The 10th-Ranked Northampton men's basketball team ended their regular season with a non-conference, 85-72, win over Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology on Tuesday evening at the Multipurpose Activity Center.

Brennan McCarthy, "Great opportunity to get some guys on the floor and compete tonight and get ourselves ready for the post season. This group has worked hard and we know what is ahead of us. It is going to come down to being able to stay in the moment and executing our game plan. I feel we are ready."
Sophomore
Mekhi Shillingford (Philadelphia, PA/Penn Wood High School) led the Spartans offense with 18 points and 3 rebounds with 4 blocked shots while
Jahad Marable (Philadelphia, PA/Science Leadership Academy - Beeber) added 16 points with 7 rebounds and 3 steals.
Ermil Fleurinvil (Reading, PA/Downey Christian School) had 14 points with 9 rebounds and was 4-6 from the free throw line and point guard
Sihaaj Johnson (Philadelphia, PA/Simon Gratz) had 11 points with 10 assists and 2 steals.
Lamaj Mapp (Darby, PA/Penn Wood High School) and
Sebastian Fermin (East Stroudsburg, PA/Pocono Mountain East High School) both scored 7 points apiece with Mapp also grabbing 10 rebounds in the win.
Northampton ends the regular season with a 24-4 overall mark.
Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology finishes their year at 12-15.
The Spartans will now wait for the Region 19 Basketball Committee to release the official seeding for the Region 19 tournament that is scheduled to begin on Saturday, February 21st
