MAYS LANDING, NJ - The Northampton men's volleyball season came to a close on Monday night with a, 3-1, (21-25, 20-25, 25-19, 26-28} Region 19 first round playoff loss to Atlantic Cape Community College at the Buccaneers Athletic Arena.
"Tough to see our season end," stated Spartans Head Coach
Rachael Aquila, "We are proud of our team and how hard our squad played tonight. It was a close match and we just fell short. We will wrap things up on our end and get ready for the future."
Luke Smith (Breiningsville, PA/Parkland) led the Spartans with 20 kills, 3 solo blocks and 20 digs and
Calvin Long (Allentown, PA/William Allen) recorded 16 kills with 2 solo blocks and 15 digs in the loss.
Shane Jones (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty) added 8 kills with 5 aces and 4 digs and
Lucas Johnson (Glendale, AZ/Independence (AZ)) had 44 assists.
The Spartans end the 2026 season with an overall mark of 4-11.
