CHAPEL HILL, NC - Former Northampton standout Jeff Sabater was recently named to the Chapel Hill Regional All-Tournament Team for his performance with East Carolina University during the NCAA Division I Baseball Regional opening round.
Sabater, the all-time leader in hits (144) and batting average (.463) for the Spartans, batted .357 for the Pirates, who finished 38-24, falling to UNC in the Regional title game after knocking off Tennessee and VCU.
Sabater transferred to NCAA Division II Millersville University after Northampton, where he was a two-time All PSAC performer, leading the Marauders in batting average both years and set the Millersville single season record for stolen bases during the 2024 campaign.
