BETHLEHEM, Pa, - The Northampton men's soccer team surrendered five first half goals and were unable to overcome the early deficit, falling to visiting Sussex County Community College, 5-2, in Region 19 action on Tuesday afternoon at Spartan Field.
"Not the way we wanted this to unfold," stated Spartans Head Coach
Mario Barrantes, "We got down early and that is a big hill to climb to get back into the game at that point. I was proud that we were able to keep Sussex out of the net in the second half and able to score to get us somewhat back into the game, but the early deficit was just too much to overcome."
