Amherst College Athletics

Opened in 2006, and renamed in June 2012 for retiring President Dr. Art Scott, the Arthur L. Spartan Center is home to Northampton athletics, with three regulation-sized basketball courts, an athletic training room, fitness center, locker rooms, a cafe and athletic offices.  With seating for over 1,000 the Arthur L.Scott Spartan Center gymnasium has played host to several conference, state championship and National Junior College Athletic Association tournaments, as well as the VIA high school All-Star Classic.
