Rachael Aquila, who also serves as the women's volleyball head coach, has guided the Northampton men's team since its inception in 2023. Aquila has led the men to a 42-12 record over 3 seasons, including two trips to the NJCAA Invitational, where the Spartans finished 5th in 2024 and 6th in 2025. Northampton captured their 1st Region 19 title in 2024 and finished as the Region 19 Runners-up in 2025.
A graduate of Nazareth High School, Aquila starred for the Northampton women's team during their back-to-back NJCAA National Tournament appearances in 2015 and 2016, earning All-Tournament honors in 2016.
A coaching fixture in the Lehigh Valley on the club volleyball circuit, Aquila is employed as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT).
