BYRN MAWR, Pa. - The NCC women's basketball team opened the 2009-10 campaign with a 98-43 loss at NJCAA Division I member Harcum College on Tuesday night.

Jenna Bartholomew led the Spartans with 11 points and a team-high 9 rebounds.  Freshman Antoinette Wise chipped in with 6 points and 7 boards.

The Spartans, 0-1, return to action on Thursday night when they host Bucks County Community College at 6pm.
