BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The NCC men's basketball rode a near triple-double from freshman Joey Bamford to down Atlantic Cape Community College, 92-80, on Friday night and win their third consecutive game.
Bamford scored 20 points, hauled down 11 rebounds and dished out 8 assists, "He was tremendous tonight," echoed Head Coach Kevin Foley, "he really played hard, he got up and down the court exceptionally well."
Josh Vargas, who ranks 14th in the country in scoring, led the Spartans with 22 points, while
Michael Wilson added 14.
Northampton improves to 7-8 overall and 5-5 in Region XIX.
The Spartans have a quick turnaround as they host Cumberland County College on Saturday January 16th at 3:00pm.
Kevin Davis led Atlantic Cape with 37 points.
