BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Ocean County College improved to 14-6 with an 86-72 victory over the host Spartans on Saturday afternoon.

The Vikings jumped out to a 43-35 halftime lead and pushed the lead to 14 during the second-half before NCC cut the lead to 10 with about one minute to play.  "Ocean is very solid," remarked Head Coach Kevin Foley, "we didn't shoot well, but credit Ocean's defense, they did a good job limiting our looks."

Josh Vargas scored 17 points and grabbed 6 rebounds and Tyler Rothrock added 12 points to pace the Spartan attack.

NCC, now 8-11 overall and 6-8 in Region XIX, travels to #1 ranked, and undefeated, Bergen County College on Tuesday for a 7:00pm game.

Charles Kelley led Ocean with 22 points.
