BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The NCC men's and women's basketball teams will make the trip to Sewell, NJ this weekend, as they take on the Gloucester County College Roadrunners in a Region XIX doubleheader.
The Lady Spartans, who defeated Gloucester 84-75 in overtime on November 28th, enter the contest with a record of 8-12 overall and 7-7 in Region XIX after falling to Middlesex County College on Thursday night.
Ashley Slater scored 16 points as the Spartans rallied from a 20 point deficit, but fell short by a score of 63-57.
The men's team is coming off an impressive 89-73 victory over Middlesex County College on Thursday, as Joey Bamford led the charge with 27 points and 11 rebounds. The Spartans are currently 9-12 overall and 7-9 in Region XIX. The Roadrunners defeated the Spartans back in November, handing them a 78-59 defeat in Bethlehem.
The men and women return to the Spartan Center on Tuesday when they host Sussex County Community College, with the women tipping at 5:00pm followed by the men at 7:00pm.
