Soccer Improved to 8-0-2 over their last 10 games
BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The NCC men's soccer team extended their unbeaten streak to 10 games with a 4-2 victory over Gloucester County College in their regular season finale on Thursday afternoon.

Zach Lewis, off an assist from Luis Galvez, got the Spartans on the board early and Josh Hoff scored his 8th goal of the season, with an assist from Seth Dempesy, to give the Spartans a 2-0 halftime lead.

The Roadrunners made things interesting in the second half, cutting the margin to 2-1 before Clark Israel netted his 4th goal of the year 17 minutes into the half, giving NCC a 3-1 lead.

Gloucester again cut the margin to one, but Seth Dempsey put the game away with his 12th goal of the season off a feed from Israel, with just over one minute remaining, to give NCC the 4-2 victory.

Pat Szarzynski stopped 4 shots to earn the win in net.

The Spartans end the regular season with a record of 9-5-3 overall and 8-5-3 in Region XIX.  Seeding for the upcoming Regional tournament will be announced on Friday October 22nd.
