BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The NCC women's basketball team improved to 2-0 with a 102-44 victory over Division II Raritan Valley Community College on Saturday afternoon in the opening round of the Northampton / A-1 Limousine Tip-Off Tournament.
Cassie Grow scored 14 points and
Melanie Palko added 10 as the Spartans sprinted out to a 56-20 halftime lead.
15 of the 16 Spartans scored as NCC converted 44 field goals to only 12 for the Golden Lions.
The Spartans will face Onondaga Community College in the championship game on Sunday November 7th at 1:00pm. The Lazers, preseason #2 in the country, defeated Manor College 83-68 in the other semi-final.
