LINCROFT, NJ -The Brookdale Community College women's basketball team overpowered NCC, 72-51, in a battle of Region XIX unbeatens on Saturday.

Melanie Palko led Northampton with 17 points, Halie Cintron added 11 and April Andrews finished with 10 points and 9 rebounds to lead the NCC attack.

"Their post play was too much for us to handle," responded Head Coach Art Wolfe when asked about Brookdale, "they were too big, too quick ... just too much for us today."

The loss drops Northampton to 9-3 overall and 5-1 in Region XIX.

The Spartans host Sussex County Community College on December 14th.
