SEWELL, NJ - Freshman
Melanie Palko scored 22 points, including four 3-pointers, to lead the NCC women's basketball team to a 81-62 victory over Gloucester County College on Thursday night.
The 5th ranked Spartans, who led 39-30 at halftime, got 10 points and 7 assists from Dee Brown and
Halie Cintron added a game-high 15 rebounds and 9 points.
"It was a good all-around effort tonight," commented Head Coach
Art Wolfe, "I thought we responded well after our poor performance on Tuesday."
The win improves NCC to 7-2 overall and 3-0 in Region XIX.
The Spartans travel to Bergen Community College on December 7th.
