PARAMUS, NJ - The 5th ranked NCC women's basketball team improved to 4-0 in Region XIX with a 78-60 victory over nationally-ranked Bergen Community College on Tuesday night.
Halie Cintron scored 24 points and grabbed 19 rebounds and
Melanie Palko had 20 points (including six 3-pointers) to lead the Spartan attack.

Art Wolfe credited the team's move from man to man defense to a 2-3 zone as the difference in the game, "We were really struggling to stop them in our man to man, but when we switched to the zone you could really feel the momentum swing in our favor."
Catie Cardiello added 15 points and 7 assists as NCC improved to 8-2 overall.
The Spartans return home on Thursday December 9th when they host Middlesex County College.
Bergen falls to 7-2 overall.
