COLORADO SPRINGS, Co. - Three members of the NCC Baseball team are among the NJCAA statistical leaders in the latest release from the national office.

Joey Bamford is ranked 2nd in the country in batting with a .511 average.  Bamford has 46 hits in 90 at bats, including six doubles and 20 RBI.

Eric Bohem is 5th in batting at .488, with 41 hits in 84 at bats.  Bohem has eight doubles, four triples and 24 RBI.

Catcher Christian Joest is currently 5th in RBI, with 44 through his first 32 games.  Joest has also connected for five homeruns, which is second in Region XIX.

The Spartans, (18-16 overall and 9-7 in conference play), who have clinched a playoff spot in the upcoming Region XIX tournament, host #1 ranked Gloucester County College on Saturday in a doubleheader starting at 12:00pm.
