BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The 6th ranked NCC women's basketball team overcame a poor shooting night to defeat Bergen Community College, 62-53, on Tuesday night to improve to 11-1 in Region XIX.

"We really struggled offensively in the first half," commented Head Coach Art Wolfe, "I thought our pressure defense got us a few easy buckets early in the second half and that helped us gain a little confidence."

Dee Brown led NCC with 16 points, while Catie Cardiello and April Andrews added 11 each. 

NCC, which improved to 15-4 overall (11-1 Region XIX) travels to Middlesex County College on January 27th to face the Colts at 5pm.
