BLUE BELL, Pa. - The NCC men's and women's basketball teams will travel to Montgomery County Community College on Tuesday November 15th to face the Mustangs in a Region XIX doubleheader.
The NCC women (2-2 overall / 1-0 conference) are coming off a 20 point victory over Passaic County Community College on Saturday. After starting the season 0-2, the Spartans have seemed to have found their stride, winning two straight by a combined 73 points.
The NCC men (1-3 overall / 0-1 conference) dropped their Region XIX opener on Saturday, falling to Passiac, 107-88. The men opened the season with a tough 8-point loss to Division II Raritan Valley and then fell on the road at Onondaga Community College before returning to the friendly confines of the Spartan Center to defeat PSU-Schuylkill, 78-73.
Montgomery's women's team enters the game undefeated at 2-0, with victories over Passaic (69-62 ot) and Sussex (63-24).
Denny Surovec's men's squad is 1-1 after their 97-79 victory over Sussex County Community College. The Mustangs opened the season with a 5 point loss to Passaic.
The women's game is set to tip at 5pm, followed by the men at 7pm. Tickets are still available.
