Jaylonn Tullis
BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Jaylonn Tullis scored 25 points on 9 for 12 shooting as the NCC men's basketball team downed Cumberland County College, 109-81, on Thursday night.

Tullis, a freshman from Arkansas, also converted 9 of 12 free throws as the Spartans had their best shooting night of the season.

"I thought we finally got into a good offensive flow," remarked Head Coach Kevin Foley, "the guys seemed relaxed on the offensive end and it showed in their shooting percentage."

Ralph Padilla added 21 points and 8 rebounds and Jahron Mathies scored 11 points, including a 3 for 3 effort from behind the arc.

NCC improves to 2-4 overall and 1-2 in conference play, while Cumberland falls to 2-3 overall and 1-2 in Region XIX.

The Spartans return to the hardwood on Saturday when they travel to Newton, NJ to face the Skylanders of Sussex County Community College at 3pm.

"We will need to ready to play," commented Foley, "it is imperative that we take the crowd out the game early and take away the home court advantage."
