LINCROFT, NJ - 7th ranked Brookdale Community College used strong defensive pressure and outstanding shooting to defeat NCC, 118-88, on Thursday evening and remain undefeated on the season.
The Jersey Blues jumped out to 19 point (62-43) halftime lead behind some great 3-point shooting and then coasted to the 30 point victory to improve to 10-0 overall and 9-0 in Region XIX.
"They are very impressive," stated NCC Head Coach Kevin Foley, "they might be the best team I have seen in our Region since we joined in 2009."
Dontae Davis scored 23 points to lead NCC, while
Jaylonn Tullis added 20.
NCC falls to 4-8 overall and 3-6 in Region XIX.
NCC returns to action on Saturday when they host Ocean County College (6-2 /5-1) at Noon.
