BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Northampton women's basketball team rebounded from their blowout loss to Brookdale Community College on Thursday with an impressive 74-61 victory over previously undefeated Ocean County College on Saturday afternoon.

Halie Cintron, a first team All-Region selection last season, had her best all-around game of the year, scoring 19 points grabbing 12 rebounds and handing out 5 assists.

"I wasn't sure how we would respond today," remarked Head Coach Art Wolfe, "Brookdale really exposed us on Thursday and then we have to turn around and play a very good Ocean County team.  The girls really came out and played  well ... this is a very good win for us."

Tiara Aziz added 15 points and Dee Brown 12 for NCC, which improved to 9-3 overall and 8-1 in Region XIX.

Ocean County College falls to 5-1 overall and 6-1 overall.

NCC returns to action on Tuesday December 20th when they host Montgomery County Community College at 5pm.
