BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Ralph Padilla scored 22 points and grabbed 9 rebounds to help lead the NCC men's basketball team to a 79-64 victory over Cumberland County College on Thursday night.

Al Blount added 21 points (19 in the first half) and 5 assists and Ike Robinson had 15 points and 6 boards as NCC improved to 17-8 overall and 14-5 Region XIX.

"Tonight was an important victory for us, even though we know we are in the playoffs, the guys are not satisfied with that," remarked Head Coach Kevin Foley, "we want to earn the best seed possibe and with 3 games left (including two vs. the Region's top two teams) we have the ability to dictate where we finish."

The Spartans, who have won four straight, return to action on Saturday when they host Camden County College at 3pm.
