BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The NCC women's basketball team won its 6th consecutive game, downing Passaic County Community College, 85-49, on Thursday night.
The Spartans placed six players in double figures, led by
Dee Brown with 14,
Tiara Aziz 13,
Alyssa Gibson 13,
Michelle Thomas 12,
Halie Cintron 11 and
Jahnna Salazar 10.
"Once again we started a little slow," remarked Head Coach
Art Wolfe, "but the girls really turned it on in the second half ... it was a great team effort in regards to sharing the ball."
Cintron added 13 rebounds as NCC improved to 14-3 overall and 13-1 in Region XIX.
Passaic drops to 3-13 overall and 3-10 in conference.
The 7th ranked Spartans return to action on Saturday when they host Sussex County Community College at 1pm.
