COLORADO SPRINGS, Co. - The Northampton men's basketball team is ranked 5th in the latest NJCAA Division III poll, released today by the national office.

The Spartans, 3-0, who were ranked 10th last week, moved up to 5th after knocking off conference rival Luzerne County Community College 87-50 on November 13th.

The #5 ranking is the highest ever acheived by the men's basketball program since joining the NJCAA for the 2009-10 season.
