COLORADO SPRINGS, Co. - The Northampton women's basketball moved up one spot this week to 2nd in the NJCAA Division III poll, released Wednesday by the national office.

The #2 ranking ties Northampton's highest-ever mark, equalling that of the 2010-11 team.

The Spartans, the defending Region XIX champions, improved to 6-0 on the season with a 9-point victory over perennial national power Brookdale Community College on Tuesday night in Lincroft, NJ.
