BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Northampton men's basketball team rebounded from their loss at Brookdale Community College last week with an 85-78 victory over Montgomery County Community College on Tuesday night at the Arthur L. Scott Spartan Center.
The Spartans, who received votes in this week's NJCAA national poll, took a 44-39 lead into the locker room at halftime behind 17 first half points from
Andrew Miller (22 total).
"This was a good win for us," commented Head Coach Kevin Foley, "we needed this in terms of the conference and to get our confidence back after last week. We still have lots of room for improvement."
Jaylonn Tullis added 22 points and
Brent Maron had a team-high 7 assists as NCC improved to 4-1 overall and 2-0 in conference play.
The Spartans return to action on Thursday when they travel to Broome Community College to face the Hornets.
