BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Northampton women's basketball team improved to 7-0 with a 68-38 victory over Montgomery County Community College on Tuesday evening at the Arthur L. Scott Spartan Center.
Tiara Aziz scored 19 points and had 4 steals and
Felicia Shaner added a game-high 14 rebounds to lead Northampton.
"We need to push ourselves," stated Head Coach
Art Wolfe, "we are starting to get very sloppy when we get a lead and it is going to hurt us eventually ... 22 turnovers in this game is unacceptable."
The Spartans improve to 2-0 in conference play and will travel to Binghamton, NY on Thursday to face Broome Community College in a non-conference tilt.
Montgomery falls to 2-3 overall and 1-3 in the EPAC.
