BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The #1 ranked Northampton Spartans rolled to an 81-44 victory over Ocean County College on Thursday evening at the Arthur L. Scott Spartan Center.

Felicia Shaner scored 16 points and grabbed 14 rebounds and Alyssa Gibson added a team-high 21 points and 5 assists for Northampton.

"I give Ocean and their coaching staff a ton of credit," remarked Head Coach Art Wolfe, "after what they have been through with the hurricane and its aftermath, it would have been easy for them to not even play this season ... their dedication is an example to everyone."

Tiara Aziz added 11 points as the Spartans jumped out to a 47-18 halftime lead and cruised to their 11th consecutive victory.

Ocean, which played in the Region XIX championship game last season, falls to 0-4 overall and 0-3 in Region XIX.

Northampton, which travels to Bucks County Community College on Saturday, improves to 11-0  overall and 4-0 in Region XIX / EPAC.
