SEWELL, NJ - The Northampton Baseball team dropped its opening game of the Region XIX Tournament, falling 8-2, to #1 seeded Gloucester County College.

The 4th seeded Spartans jumped out to an early 2-0 lead, but the defending Regional Champs battled back, holding NCC scoreless the remainder of the game, to advance to the winners bracket final.

Northampton will now face 3rd seeded Brookdale this afternoon, the Jersey Blues fell to #2 Camden, 12-2, earlier today.
