BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Northampton Athletics hosted Youth Basketball Day on Saturday as the men's basketball team took on conference rival Delaware County Community College at the Arthur L. Scott Spartan Center.
Members of the Parkland Youth Basketball Association and the Moore Township Athletic Association were on hand to cheer on the Spartans and took part in haltime festivities with NCC mascot Sam Spartan.
Moore Township Basketball Commissioner Frank Hudak and Assistant Commissioner Chris Hudak were in attendance with a large number of parents and family members of the MTAA players.
"It was a great day all around," commented Director of Athletics
Troy Tucker, "Coach Foley, the team and I really appreciate the support we received today from all of the youth players and their families ... it made for a great college basketball environment."
