NEWTOWN, Pa. -
Brianna Morales scored 22 points, dished out 8 assists and recorded 6 steals as the Northampton women's basketball team remained undefeated in Region XIX with a 95-30 victory over Bucks County Community College on Saturday afternoon.
The Spartans sprinted out to a 56-15 halftime lead and coasted to the 65 point victory, as
Katie Schickling (18 points) hit her first five 3-point attempts and
Lauren Thompson added 17 points and 12 rebounds for NCC.
"Today was good victory," commented Head Coach
Art Wolfe, "but we will need to increase our intensity on Thursday when we host Division II Mercer County, or it will be a different story."
Alaura Workman had 6 blocked shots as the Spartans improved to 7-3 overall and 5-0 in Region XIX.
Bucks fell to 3-5 overall and 1-3 in league play.
Northampton returns to the hardwood on Thursday December 12th when they host Division II Mercer County Community College at 5pm.
